hahah something totally amusing happened just now while edgar and i were walking back to his car after dinner. he was holding my hand and cos there was this barrier/pole thingy between us so i lifted our hands over it and continued walking and he went:
E: omg how can you do that? quick you gotta walk back and walk around it together with me
Me: huh? why?
E: cos you can’t do that! its bad for us!
Me: why?
E: because then something will come between us. see you’ve ruined everything now (and his face literally fell)
hahahhaha. omg you should have seen his face i swear. i couldn’t even tell if he was joking or not. so yeah we walked AROUND it then he went “okay, things are all better now. don’t worry, i fixed it. no problem”
how cute is he?! i honestly dont know how true that “superstition” is or maybe he’s just making something up to be funny hahahha. cos once, we were waiting for boba and he hugged me out of the blue and i went “what’s up” (yeah yeah i should just shut up and let him hug me right hahaha) and he went “you’re standing too far away from me and this is better”
okay am i gushing? i think i am hahaha. cos e is just too amusing and adorable and idk what else to say about him hahahah. he’s such a kid sometimes, yet sometimes he’s so grown up and mature. so adorable. like suf says “I like how he doesn’t cling on you, but doesn’t make you feel neglected.” (: such liberation, being with someone who lets you be independent, yet shows appropriate “clingyness” at the appropriate times in the appropriate amounts hahha.
